Dustin Hectorne was named Horn Lake’s 14th Head Football Coach in December of 2023.
During his 1st season, the Eagles compiled a 9-3 record and finished as the Region 1-7A Runner-Up and hosted a playoff game for the 1st time since 2018.
Hectorne previously served as the Head Coach at Lewisburg High School from 2021-2023. During this time Lewisburg experienced some of their most success on the gridiron. Lewisburg went to the playoffs in back-to-back years for the first time in school history including finishing as the Region1-7A Runner-Up in 2023 and hosting the schools first ever first round playoff game.
Before his time at Lewisburg, Coach Hectorne was an assistant coach at Horn Lake and was part of a staff that helped guide the program to historic success. During this time the Eagles went to the playoffs 4 straight years and won the 2018 6A State Championship.
Prior to his first stint at Horn Lake, Coach Hectorne coached in Florida at West Orange High School and Olympia High School. At West Orange, Hectorne was part of a staff that erased a 12-year playoff drought, won back-to-back district titles, and was a state semifinalist in 2015. Similarly at Olympia, Hectorne helped win back-to-back district titles, and helped the program qualify for the playoffs for the first time in school history.
Coach Hectorne and his wife Bonnie, and have 2 children, Bailey and Hudson.
